Day 30 – Holding On To His Promises
“They reeled and staggered like drunkards; they were at their wits’ end. Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he brought them out of their trouble, He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven. Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind.” – Psalm 107:27-31
I am thankful for this journey of 30 Days of Thanksgiving. Each day this month, I have had the opportunity to read the many different devotions and statements of thankfulness of a wide variety of people – close friends, family, acquaintances, fellow bloggers, and people I do not know at all. Wonder why I am thankful for this? Having the opportunity to see what others are thankful for in their lives not only makes me more thankful for the blessings in my life, it has given me insight on how I can better handle situations in my life, past present and future. I am thankful for the journey this 30 Days of Thanksgiving has led me on – to look differently upon my life, with thanks and giving everyday. Something we should not only do in November, but every single day of our life.
What are you thankful for this last day of the 30 Days of Thanksgiving?
What have you learned on your journey?
